What our past clients had to say:

Meet David Waldrop

David M. Waldrop is a seasoned attorney of 37 years practicing estate planning and family law, serving clients throughout Tennessee, North Mississippi, and Arkansas. His practice encompasses trusts, wills, estate planning, divorce, child custody, child support, adoption, alimony, paternity, and pre-nuptial agreements.

A graduate of the University of Memphis, Cecil C. Humphreys School of Law, David began his career serving his community as a firefighter for the City of Germantown, an early testament to his dedication, courage, and commitment to helping others. His service extends beyond the courtroom; he has served as Chairman of the Planning Commission for the Town of Collierville and as an elder at Germantown Presbyterian Church.

David believes that trust is the foundation of a strong attorney-client relationship. He knows that providing effective legal representation requires professionalism and dedication.
He also takes the time to explain the law clearly and show how it applies to your situation, empowering you to make the best possible decisions for your situation. When it comes to negotiations or litigation, he is a steadfast advocate, offering prompt, skilled, and cost-conscious representation every step of the way.

David takes a team-based approach to litigation, with his paralegal Andrea playing a key role. If David is unavailable, Andrea is the go-to and often has the answers you need. She brings expertise in case management and trial preparation, and recognizes that attentive listening is essential to representing clients effectively. Convenience and accessibility matter: David offers evening and weekend appointments, free 30-minute consultations, and accepts credit cards.
“Life doesn’t always follow the path you expected. Divorce, custody disputes, or planning for your family’s future can upend your sense of security and leave you feeling uncertain. You want answers that make sense and a steady hand guiding you through unfamiliar territory. You deserve someone who listens, cares, and puts your needs first.”
